As the **Region Manager**for Frozen Food in Asia, you will be responsible for driving sales, marketing, and operations within the region. You will oversee the business development, distribution, and profitability of frozen food products across multiple countries in Asia. This is a leadership role where you will manage a team, develop and execute regional strategies, and work closely with key stakeholders to ensure the company’s continued success in Asia.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Strategic Leadership**:Develop and implement regional sales and operational strategies to achieve business goals, market expansion, and growth targets for frozen food products in Asia.
- **Market Expansion**:Identify new business opportunities and drive market entry strategies for new countries or regions within Asia.
- **Sales & Revenue Growth**:Manage and expand relationships with distributors, retailers, and key customers to drive sales growth.
- **Product Management**:Ensure alignment between regional market needs and product offerings. Collaborate with R&D and supply chain teams to ensure product quality and availability.
- **Team Leadership**:Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of sales, marketing, and operations professionals in the region.
- **Budget Management**:Oversee the regional budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and targets are met.
- **Cross-functional Collaboration**:Work closely with global marketing, supply chain, logistics, and finance teams to ensure successful execution of regional initiatives.
- **Compliance & Regulations**:Ensure that all activities comply with local regulations and company policies.
- **Performance Reporting**:Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the performance of the region, making adjustments where necessary.
**Qualifications**:
- **Experience**:7+ years in a senior management role within the frozen food or FMCG industry, with at least 3 years in a regional leadership capacity.
- **Proven Track Record**:Demonstrated success in sales and market expansion, particularly in the frozen food sector.
- **Cultural Sensitivity**:Deep understanding of the Asian market, cultures, and consumer preferences.
- **Leadership**:Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams across multiple countries and functions.
- **Business Acumen**:Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to make data-driven decisions.
- **Language Skills**:Proficiency in English is essential; knowledge of additional Asian languages (Mandarin, Hindi, Japanese, etc.) is a plus.
- **Education**:A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.
- **Travel**:Willingness to travel frequently across the region.
