**Our Cell Biologist
Our Cell Biologist will take a role in development and execution of methods for testing of new cell transfection solutions. With an aptitude for driving results in a fast-paced food biotechnology business environment, you will be expected to integrate and lead a dynamic and multidisciplinary team.

As a Scientist in our team, you possess good practical knowledge and proven research experience in cell biology techniques, specifically with mammalian cell culture. With the technical capacity to develop experimental hypotheses, design and perform experiments, analyze data sets and write protocols and reports, the individual will be required to present their findings on a project level to influence external and business stakeholders.

**Responsibilities**
- Design and conduct experiments independently
- Maintain cell cultures and optimize media
- Maintain accurate laboratory records and data
- Exercise independent judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
- Accurately record procedures, materials used, and results obtained, enabling others to understand and reproduce results.
- Recommend and execute changes to processes, procedures or products internally to the department
- Participate on multifunctional teams and lead small to medium projects
- Troubleshooting using knowledge of technical product details and design control
- Adheres to internal policies and procedures as well as external quality standards

**Education**
- Masters and above in Cell Biology or related discipline with 2 years of research experience as a postdoc or corporate working experience

**Experience**
- Experience of working with mammalian cells (primary cells isolation from mammalian tissues and stem cells differentiation). Preferably 1-2 years of experience in successfully establishing primary mammalian cell cultures.
- Experience of working with 3D cell culture, establishment of stable cell lines (cell immortalization) and experience in culture media optimization preferred.
- Knowledge of signaling pathways, experience in molecular biological techniques, gene editing tools (e.g. CRISPR-Cas9) and flow cytometry
- Familiar with Microsoft Excel, statistical analysis tools as well as bioinformatic softwares (bioedit, sequencher, mega 7, benching etc.)
