**Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities**
**New and existing Clients**
- Drive and manage an increased adoption of the MarketAxess trading platform in Asia-Pacific by the buy-side community (Asset Managers, Private Banks, et al).
- Develop new and maintain existing client relationships in all MarketAxess product segments to achieve trade volume targets. Manage all client relationships in a manner consistent with the corporate goals of MarketAxess.
- Manage and work together with the Sales Team on the continuous evaluation of the existing client base, identify and rank underperforming clients, sectors and geographies; prioritise and manage and report remedial efforts.
- Schedule regular calls, visits and other contacts with clients and monitor effectiveness. Overseas travel to visit clients, conferences or MarketAxess offices will be required.
**Client on-boarding**
- Drive the process and work closely with all appropriate colleagues to turn around and execute client documentation as quickly and effectively as possible.
- Interact with clients across Front Office, Legal, Operations, Compliance, Back Office.
- Manage and direct process for training and setting up clients and taking them live. Continue to ensure all future client training needs are met.
**Integration of Clients**
- To develop client “stickiness”, lead the process of integrating clients with MarketAxess through STP connectivity
**Trade Enquiry and Execution**
- Drive client trade enquiries through MarketAxess using an appropriate trading protocol.
- Ensure that the ratio of trades done to enquiries priced is maximised.
- Identifying and on-boarding new clients; management and deepening of existing relationships.
- Effectively marketing our products and services to clients thereby increasing client trade volume on the platform.
- Assist the dealer relationship management team in developing relationships with new dealers if requested. Ability to specify sectors traded at each dealer.
- Work with the EMEA / US based client and dealer sales and product management teams to maximise EMEA / US product volumes with Asian clients.
- Participate in client and product management team meetings and discussions.
- Participate in sales team meetings and events.
- Plan and manage backup and support arrangements in event of absence.
**Knowledge/Experience**
- Fluency in English a prerequisite, additional languages a benefit
- University degree
- Ideally at least 7+ year’s sales experience with an investment bank, buy-side firm, trading platform or vendor.
- Understanding of Fixed Income markets
- Results driven, high energy and proactive work ethic.
- Ability to articulate a compelling proposition for e-trading.
