Through our continued commitment, DBS has cultivated long-standing relationships with its customers in the region that are based on account relationship management, service differentiation, product development and rigorous credit standards.Role OverviewHead of Foreign Direct investments (FDI) Desk is a key leadership role within the Institutional Banking Group (IBG). This individual will lead the FDI Desk - a specialized team dedicated to identifying and supporting the banking needs of businesses expanding into Singapore, ASEAN and the broader DBS connectivity markets in the regions. The role is responsible for driving business development and growth relating to FDIs, deepening client engagement, and executing strategic initiatives.
In addition, the role demands extensive collaboration and coordination across the bank?s Institutional Banking Group (IBG), Private Banking (PB), Consumer Banking Group (CBG) and product teams, to amplify and deliver our One-Bank propositions to clients.Responsibilities1. Leadership & Business Development* Originate and drive business development and new business opportunities related to FDIs and strategic initiatives, in collaboration with internal stakeholders, to achieve business growth and synergies.* Support clients? FDIs and cross-border business expansion with our One-Bank propositions and DBS Connectivity.* Cultivate and deepen key client relationships and business connections, establishing DBS as a trusted partner of clients.* Develop and execute account plans for clients, achieving goals including increasing income size and share of wallet, broadening income streams and managing business risks.* Co-create and support ideation and execution of strategic initiatives.2. One-Bank Collaboration* Orchestrate and foster close collaboration with regional coverage teams across IBG, PB and CBG, as well as product teams, to deliver comprehensive and customised solutions ?
