**Responsibilities**:

- Liaise closely with Project Managers on workplace safety, health and environmental issues to maintain a high level of safety at the sites
- Oversee and lead the Safety team & subcontractors in the implementation of Company’s safety systems at sites
- Monitor safety and health aspect of all projects and workers safe work practices
- Conduct site inspection on work activities to ensure implementation of safe work procedures
- Investigate accidents / incidents / dangerous occurrences and recommend remedial measures to prevent any recurrences
- Carry out risk assessment for all projects and maintain high level of safety and housekeeping at site
- Carry out safety orientations and to conduct daily tool box meeting
- Plan, administer and implement safety policy and safety procedures in compliance with MOM safety regulations
- Familiarize with ISO45001 Audit requirements and make preparation for the Audit
- Ensure compliance of operations with Workplace Safety and Health Act and all its subsidiary and statutory legal legislations
- Identify any unsafe conditions or unsafe work practices and recommend / implement reasonably practicable measures to correct the situation
- Any other duties and responsibility as assigned

**Requirements**:

- At least a Diploma or Degree in Engineering
- Certificate in WSH (Level C)
- Possess a valid registration with MOM as Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO)
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in Engineering and Construction industry
- Familiar with construction site safety inspections and regulations
- A good team player who is hands-on and meticulous in his work
- Dynamic, self-motivated, proactive and results oriented
- Excellent team spirit, strong technical competence and good interpersonal skills
