**Coal Trader**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Sourcing and Procurement: Identify and source coal from domestic and international suppliers, ensuring that the supply meets the company’s business requirements and customer needs.
- Negotiation and Contract Management: Negotiate purchase agreements and contracts with coal producers and intermediaries to secure competitive pricing and reliable supply. Ensure that all contracts are managed effectively and that terms are adhered to.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders to optimize procurement processes. Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with agreed terms and specifications.
- Market Analysis and Intelligence: Provide market insights and intelligence to internal stakeholders to inform strategic decisions. Stay updated on global coal market trends and identify the most cost-effective purchasing opportunities.
- Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with logistics and shipping teams to coordinate the timely and efficient transport of coal from suppliers to designated locations. Ensure that all logístical aspects are managed smoothly to maintain a consistent supply chain.
- Reporting and Analysis: Track and report on coal procurement activities, including cost analysis, purchase volumes, and supplier performance. Use this data to inform future procurement strategies and optimize the supply chain.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Operations and other trading teams to ensure the successful execution of procurement and trading activities. Collaborate across departments to align procurement strategies with overall business goals.
- Ad-Hoc Duties: Perform additional duties as required to support the procurement and trading functions.

**Requirements**:

- **Bachelor’s degree** in Business, Economics, or a related field.
- **5-8 years **of experience in commodities trading, with a strong focus on coal procurement.
- Proven negotiation and contract management skills, with experience in managing complex procurement processes.
- **In-depth understanding of global coal markets, supply chain logistics, and import/export regulations.**:

- Proficiency in **Chinese** for effective communication with key stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple procurement projects simultaneously, and adapt to changing market conditions.
