**Your **Key Responsibilities**:
DWS continues its journey as a publicly listed asset manager since its IPO and is in the process of establishing its own infrastructure and corporate functions, including Compliance & AFC. This role is located within the risk assessment/ management & framework team and AFC team in Compliance & AFC to support local definition and maintenance and implementation of existing and new policies under the DWS Group wide policy framework and support APAC AFC in addition to the MLRO role in DWS Singapore.
- Support analysis of DWS applicability of regulatory updates & reflection of changes in global policies
- Set up new Compliance & AFC policies on global level based on regulatory changes or input from business & agree policies with respective business lines as required
- Regularly review and update existing Compliance & AFC polices based on business & regulatory requirements & align updates with respective business lines as required
- Support impact assessment of policy changes on training requirements of Compliance & AFC staff & beyond, incl. regular alignment with training responsible in Compliance & AFC
- Contribute to project and change initiatives
- Support overall risk framework management team with ad-hoc requests
- Support the completion of the annual AFC risk assessment for the APAC entities and businesses
- Support the APAC AFC to be one of the engagements point for DWS regionally and the APAC engagement point for DWS AFC globally with ad-hoc requests
- Act as the Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) for DWS Singapore
- Deliver ad hoc AFC training as required to raise awareness for DWS Singapore

**Your Skills & Experience**:
You are a degree holder in Business, Law or similar with a minimum of 6 + years asset management Compliance with alternative asset classes (e.g. SI, Private equity, real estate) experience within a financial institution, regulator and/or similar environment
- Excellent knowledge of compliance in alternative funds, broader compliance, trading compliance and regulatory matters, with experience/ knowledge of the financial markets and the current regulatory structure in asset management.
- Financial Crime professional with a background and strong knowledge of local laws and regulations
- Experiences in dealing with regulation or regulation analysis and implementation
- Independent way of working, high reliability, and eye for details
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
