Job Purpoose

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, and implement fund strategies and guidelines to meet fund objectives.
- Conduct regular review of all aspects of fund strategy and performance in order to deliver superior investment returns and achieve performance target for the fund.
- Develop, maintain and run detailed financial models for the investments at property and fund levels; Monitor efficiency in capital structure employed;
- Analyse, review, formulate and monitor asset plans with a view to maximize performance.
- Contribute to firm’s investment management strategy through research and market intelligence, including keeping current on competitive and regulatory landscape and best practices.
- Proactively monitor and manage risks including FX, interest rate, and tax risk. Develop and execute appropriate strategies to minimize these risks and maximize returns.
- Work with the Investment and asset management teams to develop and set property strategic plans, monitor operational and financial performance, perform re-underwritings and hold-sell analyses, participate in major leasing and financing decision-making; and oversee the quarterly valuation process.
- Day-to-day management of assets and portfolios; work closely with a portfolio analyst to assess performance metrics and support the portfolio decision process.
- Preparation of materials used in the investment approval process and participation in presentations to the Investment Committee.
- Maintain centralized oversight of investment management business including investment performance monitoring and analysis, investor reporting, governance and returns bench marking.
- Participate in investment and asset management process including evaluation and underwriting of the potential acquisitions and divestment opportunities, conducting reference checks, and identifying any significant issues to be addressed during the course of due diligence

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Masters / Degree in Real Estate / Finance / Business Administration from leading university
- Minimum 12 years of relevant experience with real estate funds in portfolio management or investment role with board knowledge and extensive networks in the real estate investment sectors for the Asia Pacific region.
- Possess sharp analytical, research, problem solving skills and communication skills.
- Have demonstrated ability to lead and negotiate transactions. Proven track record in dealing with international institutional investors will be viewed favorably.
- A self-motivated team player who is meticulous, detailed oriented, organized and able to learn quickly, independently with strong analytical skills;
- Proficient with financial modelling, market and industry research in real estate or other private equity assets;
- A strong communicator with excellent stakeholder management skill and ability to interact well with different functions and levels.
- Ability to multi-task and work in fast pace dynamic environment
