**Key Responsibilities**:
**Business Development**:

- Proactively identify potential business opportunities through extensive networks and research to secure Requests for Proposal (RFP) and Requests for Quotation (RFQ).
- Develop new business across all product lines, including Freight Forwarding, Contract Logistics, and Project Logistics.
- Explore opportunities to cross-sell products to both new and existing clients.

**Client Relationship Management**:

- Forge and maintain strong relationships with key contacts in both new and existing accounts.
- Ensure account retention through excellent customer service.

**Strategic Leadership**:

- Strategize and implement new business initiatives to drive growth.
- Maintain an accurate and robust sales pipeline at all times.
- Collaborate with solution design teams to enhance business development strategies.
- Identify and build infrastructure with reliable service providers and freight agents in overseas markets where Pacific International Lines Logistics does not have a presence.

**Market Intelligence and Strategy**:

- Use market knowledge and competitor insights to identify the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.
- Gather and share market intelligence to support business strategies.
- Partner closely with stakeholders to develop proposals, negotiate contracts, and integrate requirements with business operations.

**Brand Development**:

- Leverage the company’s branding and professional profile to gain new business opportunities.

**MUST HAVE**:

- **15+ years** of relevant **business development experience in international freight** forwarding, with at least **10 years of leadership experience**.
- Proven sales track record and an excellent customer network.
- Strong market knowledge in the **freight forwarding industry (ocean and air products).**:

- Ability to develop and execute business strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Experience in leading high-performing teams.
