Farm Engineer

This position for Farm Engineer (Mechanical, HVAC) is to further enhance and develop a novel farming system that integrate collaborative systems to improve operation efficiency and farm performance. This position requires the engineer to have sound knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems in order to perform in his/her role. As a member of the engineering team, you will collaborate with engineers and scientists to develop systems that will revolutionise agriculture. Your task will be to design, evaluate, and integrate automation solutions into current innovative systems developed to automate various farm operations. This role has the opportunity to improve process, integrate new systems and project management.

- System design, integration, testing and troubleshooting
- Provide technical and engineering services for farm operations
- Develop project documentation
- Develop understanding of hardware schematics and datasheets
- Generate design specification and test cases and/or scripts
- Presenting system designs to management
- Manage and monitor all infrastructure and system installations, including configurations, testing, and maintenance
- Development of system design through drawings, calculations, diagrams and other documentation
- Providing technical support to other engineers within a company regarding projects or issues related to HVAC systems
- Analyzing building plans to determine the number of HVAC units required
- Determining the best location for installing HVAC equipment in a building
- Coordinating with contractors to ensure that new installations meet building codes and are completed on time
- Working with contractors to ensure that existing HVAC systems are operating properly
- Conducting research on new technologies in order to develop efficient designs for new HVAC systems
- Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years experience in HVAC industry
- Well-versed in the principles of HVAC design and construction
- Functional comprehension of industrial engineering drawings, operations and maintenance manuals
- Experience in designing systems that control air quality and temperature efficiently
- Experience in solution configurations/overall architecture design and the creation of Proof of Concept to meet customer requirements is desirable
- Experience with ANSYS is desirable
- Experience with AutoCAD and/or INVENTOR will be considered an asset
- Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter and independent thinker
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills

**Project Coordinator (Korean speaker)**:
As a Project Coordinator, you will support the implementation of projects that involve novel farming systems. You will also collaborate with engineers and scientists to develop solutions that will revolutionise agriculture.
- What we Expect from you?- Communicate with the customer to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
- Translate documentation from English to Korean and vice versa.
- Assist the Project Manager (“PM”) to optimise deadlines, budgets and quality of deliverables.
- Schedule and attend meetings between stakeholders, customers, employees, and the PM.
- Work closely with the PM and technical teams in technical documentation planning with clear and concise.
- Requirements- Minimum Diploma in Business, or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) disciplines.
- Have 3-4 years of Project Management experience, preferable in any engineering environment to understand the practices and life cycle of projects.
- Excellent in Korean & English written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office, ability to use project management tools and experience in an ERP system is a bonus for documentation management.
- Work on a contract basis (ONE year contract).

**Quality Assurance Specialist**:
As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you are responsible to establish an overarching Quality Framework framework for the Operations Team. This is an operational role, you will work closely with the Farm Manager and the operations team to resolve quality related issues.
- What we Expect from you?- Contribute to the development and implementation of the Quality Framework consisting of methods, procedures, measurements, planning and review components for operational success
- Drive quality improvement projects
- Maintain, review and update standard operating procedures, work instructions and other forms of document change
- Maintain CAPA for customer reviews and complaints
- Develop, maintain and review product recall and traceability
- Assist with the documentation and coordination of the GAP certification for the Farm
