[What the role is]

We are seeking a highly motivated intern with good interpersonal and analytical skills to join the Grants Division. This role will offer a unique opportunity to leverage on data and analytics to review our current grants portfolio, provide data-driven recommendations for management decision-making, and identify new funding approaches/areas in the arts and heritage, sports, community, and/or social sectors.

[What you will be working on]

**Project Description**:
Project Title: Data Analytics on Future Grant Portfolio

Job scope includes, but is not limited to:

- Analyse grants portfolio using available data and analytics techniques, including running a needs analysis of sectoral needs and resourcing demand projections
- Develop data models to provide recommendations for strategic decision-making and extent of future funding in the short to medium term (next 5 years), including identifying, prioritising and projects against Tote Board’s grant portfolio
- Research and identify gaps and opportunities in the identified sectors for future work planning e.g. new technology and new approaches to funding in the philanthropy, arts, sports sectors etc.
- Engage key stakeholders (Ministries, Statutory Boards) and direct users as part of the project to better understand planning and ground needs.
- Support creation of data-driven reports and presentations for stakeholders.
- Visualise findings and present actionable insights to management.

[What we are looking for]

**Project Requirements**:

- Currently pursuing a degree in a relevant field such as Business, Data Science, Social Science or a related discipline
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large datasets
- Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques (e.g. R, Python, SQL, Tableau) is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work well in a team and engage with external stakeholders
- Ability to translate complex data findings into clear, actionable insights
- Keen interest in philanthropy and the non-profit sector
