This position is part of the _Facilities and Engineering Department_ located in _Singapore_ _and will be on-site (Overnight shift: 10pm to 7am). At IDT, we are one global team. We celebrate our differences, engage in healthy debate, and are inclusive. Together, we accomplish great things.

**In this role, you will have the opportunity to**:

- _ Be responsible for performing facilities and engineering maintenance and calibration activities in a timely manner to meet operational needs of the organization. _
- _Carry out fault troubleshooting and equipment failure recovery. _
- _Support, execute or initiate engineering initiatives to drive continuous improvement._

**The essential requirements of the job include**:

- _ Diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering or sciences with minimum 2 years of working experience in the maintenance related field. _
- _Aptitude and general knowledge of repair techniques._
- _ Knowledge of instrument _calibration and facility management_

**Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements**:

- _ Must be comfortable working with chemicals and follow proper safety and handling instructions._
- _ Ability to read and interpret printed material, including distinguishing colors, accurately read measurements, and prepare and read written documentation using a computer_
- _ Requires exerting force, repetitive motions, standing, precise finger tasks, reaching, sitting, lifting, bending, pushing/pulling, talking, hearing, walking, climbing, using protective equipment, and maintaining various visual capabilities._

**It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in**:

- _ Six Sigma principles_
- _ ISO 13485:2016_
- _ Manufacturing of DNA/RNA oligonucleotides _
