SC3DP drives research development and industry adoption of additive manufacturing technology through collaborative projects with leading industry partners, schools and research centres within and beyond NTU.

The research associate is expected to help the principal investigator to carry out a research project on wire arc additive manufacturing to meet the deliverables and KPIs and communicate with the industrial collaborator.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the project with the defined milestones and deliverables
- Carry out hands-on experiments to meet deliverables and KPIs
- Write and prepare communications content and interface with the industry

Job Requirements:

- Master degree in the area of Mechanical or Materials Engineering
- At least two-year research experience
- Experimental skills in microstructural characterization, including metallograph, EBSD and TEM
- Experimental skills in mechanical testing, including tensile testing
- Demonstrated experience in additive manufacturing
- Knowledge of the relationship between microstructures and mechanical properties of metallic materials
