We are seeking an experienced dynamic professional to join our growing Futures team in Singapore, as part of our wider Commodities and Global Markets business. As a Futures Operations Associate, you will oversee and be responsible for the daily operation of our SGX Clearing Membership, reconciliations for the global exchanges that we clear. Besides posting trade allocations and clearing for all SGX trades in addition to performing T+1 trade amendments and give ups, you will also supervise and manage junior teammates.

You will also be monitoring all trades booked to suspense / holding and average price accounts and ensure timely escalation. In addition, this role will play an important part of in regulatory reporting, including submission of reports to SGX and MAS which will include responsibility of investigating and resolving SGX breaks raised by our Sydney team. As Operational excellence is vital to our business, you will provide the highest level of operational support and service to the business and ensure that procedures are up to date and reviewed on a periodic basis. Continuous review/monitor of workflow and strive for efficiencies in time, costs and service levels is essential and you will also be required to work on operations related projects and will need to be able to influence and manage stakeholders accordingly whilst driving projects through to completion.

What you’ll bring to this role:

- At least 5 years of direct experience in a similar position with extensive knowledge of SGX, SGX clearing & settlement systems, SGX exchange rules and SFA (MAS) regulations.
- Strong Control/Process orientated mindset with a keen attention to details
- Ability to consider regulatory framework along with day-to-day operations.
- Excellent Excel, Access and macros skillset is required.
- Leadership and management skills will be an added advantage.
- A confident team player with a proven ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Strong communication skills in English are essential, a second language is a benefit.
