- ** Job Purpose**

This position is responsible for day-to-day ground operation of NOC (Network Operation Centre).

**Responsibilities**
- Attend to escalations from internal and external stakeholders.
- Perform daily SOC (Security Operations Centre) and IT monitoring duties.
- Manage and respond to facility and security alarms.
- Timely response to incidents/ breaches within Central Office.
- Assist with cable diversion related queries and notifications towards RLs.
- Perform fibre network monitoring and fault management.
- Manage network outage notifications to customers.
- Coordination of operation activities.
- Layer 1 (fibre optic) network analysis and troubleshooting.
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties as per assigned by supervisors
- Job Requirements
- ** Requirements**
- Diploma or NITEC in Electronics Engineering/Telecommunications or relevant field.
- 1 or more years of professional work experience in the Security Operation Center (SOC) environment will be advantageous.
- Proficient in MS Excel.
- Proficient in task tracking and reporting.
- Possess strong analytical skill and has a flair for dealing with technical and operational problems.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of GPON technology, Fibre Optics (dark fibre infrastructure) will be advantageous.
- Committed and good team player.
