**Purpose of Role
Regional Data Lead is primarily responsible for development of a data roadmap for APAC region and executing it to the plan. He also is responsible for business stakeholder engagement and supporting in achieving the business data goals as an IT business partner

**Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
- Define the data roadmap for APAC across consumer and commercial lines of business and a 5yr target state data landscape
- Delivering data capability which enables the business to realise value through consistent, accurate, reliable, and high-quality data and leading-edge data, reporting and analytical solutions
- Collaborate with global teams and country teams effectively and drive to a common solution
- IT data Business partner to all lines of business and collaborate with business leads and data owners to define a common goal for the enterprise
- Define and own the project plans and drive the delivery with the support of offshore teams
- Manage regular stakeholder governance meetings with accurate and specific reporting and be able to raise the program level issues at the right time for reslution
- Able to manage teams in multiple locations and be able to prioritise projects and activities
- Being a mentor to the teams and train them in business and technology aspects of data
- Play a role of a functional architect with the business to define a high level solution of business problems around data
- Adhere to Chubb Global governance processes and tools while maintaining a key focus on design patterns and technology standards
- Present and demonstrate to all the relevant stakeholders on the capabilities of the data solutions
- Play a role of a business analyst (per demand) to define a very high level business scoping
- Familiar with new age data analytics technologies and machine learning models
- Strong experience and knowledge of how data can be leveraged in Insurance industry

**Requirements:
- Strong insurance skills with data & analytics experience and to end understanding of Insurance systems
- Experience in regional implementations and a multi location working model
- Experience working in a multinational organisation within an Enterprise Architectural and offshore delivery teams
- Understanding of common information/data frameworks and data models.
- Understanding of the differences between relational modelling and object modelling.
- Highly familiarity with master data management, business intelligence, and data warehouse design and implementation techniques.
- Good understanding of cloud(preference as Azure) and the related native technologies
- Strong communication and influencing skills, including the ability to formulate business case, create marketing and messaging materials that meet stakeholder preferences.
- Ability to analyse project, programme and portfolio needs, as well as to determine the resources needed to achieve objectives and overcome cross-functional barriers.
- Strong experience in agile methodologies and the usage of agile tools such as Jira, Confluence etc.,
- Strong leadership in people and issue management
