**Job Description**:
As a Merchandising Responsible, you implement and follow-up on merchandising strategies for the store portfolio within the SEA Sales Market - including Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Philippines.
You will manage a team of merchandising professionals, composed of Merchandising Specialists, Project Merchandisers, as well as Inventory Optimization Specialists.
You will be responsible for the selling of your Sales Market and its profitable net growth. You will be responsible for the execution of the Regional commercial strategy and act on opportunities to maximize growth, based on the commercial priorities within the Sales Market. You will provide the Regional team with commercial potential in your Sales Market. You will be responsible for inventory optimization, securing the correct allocation and reduction strategies to reach optimal stock freshness. Lastly, you will be responsible for optimizing the concept strategy within existing and new store portfolio.
**Responsibilities**:
**Drive profitable and sustainable growth in your market**
- Implement & optimize the regional commercial strategy based on local needs within the Sales Market and set clear commercial priorities based on commercial plan, stock situation and commercial potential.
- Follow-up commercial, financial and customer results and benchmark between countries and areas. Identify quantitative selling opportunities and initiate actions to drive them together with the Store Commercial Team.
- Secure local relevance and align input from Sales Market to Region based on commercial review, customer insight & data and Sales Market knowledge together with the Store Commercial Team.
- Secure profitability, optimal stock levels and composition by setting reduction strategies in line with the financial and commercial plan. Create and drive tactical activities based on regional commercial & stock management strategy.
- Coordinate allocation strategy with the Region. Execute the allocation and replenishment strategy, including new stores, rebuilds and relocations. Carry out store segmentation based on selling.
- Maximize the selling per square meter in existing and new stores by optimizing concept mix in cooperation with Regional Store Portfolio Merchandise Manager, Store Design and Visual Lead.
**Enable a great customer experience**
- Know your market & your customer: macro-economic factors, retail situation, price positioning, customer preference. Communicate insights to the Region.
- Know your competition: visit competitors frequently, know the market shares on customer group and set up strategies to secure H&M’s business idea.
- Be out in store Secure size curve quality and commerciality by acting on inventory optimization actions, commercial actions, and tactical activations.
- Provide assortment and stock situation input to Regional Merchandising Team to create the best customer offer and customer experience for our customers.
- Provide feedback to Regional Team on commercial level in stores.

**Qualifications**:
- A passion for product
- 3+ years of Merchandising experience
- University Degree, preferably in Business, Economics or Fashion
- Strong analytical skills - Sales driven and business minded with strong commercial awareness and salesmanship
- Good understanding of inventory optimization and supply chain in retail operations
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Strong communication skills and fluent in English, both written and spoken
Additional Information
This is a full-time position based in Singapore and you will report directly to the Store Commercial Manager.
