**Make An Impact By**
- Provide 1st and 2nd level operational database support.
- Assist and respond promptly to incident, investigate & provide temporary &/or permanent resolution of incidents escalated.
- Manage database changes through change request process & provide status reports to the relevant parties.
- Monitor & measure the performance & availability of databases proactively; implement corrective actions identified to improve.
- Perform regular security patching for the DBs including RAC/Cluster db.
- Handle service continuity measures, i.e., backup/restore procedures & disaster recovery plan, to ensure continuous operation of the business.
- Manage DB access. Create, Change, delete users accounts as per request.
- Maintain dataguard and ensure DR in synch all times.
- Monitor and maintain database backups.
- Audit Support.
- Prompt 24x7 support.
- Accommodative for Shift/Roster call out.

**Skills for Success**:

- Implement and manage Audit, Backup & Monitoring of DBs. Minimum Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- EDB Professional Certification
- Oracle Professional Certification
- MS SQL Professional Certification
- Minimum 3 year of experience in Oracle(Standalone +RAC/Cluster)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in PostgreSQL(Standalone +Cluster)
- Minimum 3 year of experience in MS SQL (Standalone +Cluster)
- Minimum 3 year of experience in MYSQL (Standalone +Cluster)
- Extensive experience in managing common Database platform like Oracle, PostgreSQL, MS SQL & MongoDB including Cluster architecture
- Experience in performing database Patching, backup & recovery as well as excellent troubleshooting and performance tuning skill is a must.(Including cluster architecture)
- Implement Database hardening as per CIS Benchmarks.
- EDB Cluster management using EFM.
