Our client, a leading petrol chemical manufacturer is currently seeking an Enterprise Data Governance Specialist. The incumbent will supports the efforts to define data standards, policies, and procedures for overall Enterprise Data Governance and Quality.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Analyze and assess the quality of data sources to identify inconsistencies, errors, and anomalies.
- Develop and maintain data quality metrics and standards.
- Collaborate with data engineers and other stakeholders to cleanse and enrich data to meet quality standards.
- Implement data quality rules and transformations.
- Create and execute data quality tests and validation procedures.
- Monitor data quality on an ongoing basis and report issues to relevant teams.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Conduct interviews, surveys, and workshops to gather information.
- Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business decisions.
- Create data-driven reports and dashboards.
- Document current and future-state business processes.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
- Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technology teams.
- Present findings, data quality reports, and recommendations to stakeholders. Assist in the development of change management plans for implementing new processes or technologies.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Data Science, Business, or a relevant field
- Proven 5 years’ experience in Data Quality, Master Data Management, Data governance
- Strong knowledge of data management principles, data modeling, and data quality practices
- Familiarity with Data Quality and Management tools and technologies
- Experience on SAP ECC, SAP S/4 HANA, Digital Analytics and Database
- Experience in Data cataloguing and analytics tools e.g Collibra, Talend, Snowflake, PowerBI is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to adapt to changing business needs and technology landscapes
- Relevant certifications in data management (e.g., CDMP, DAMA) are a plus
