**Responsibilities**
- Oversees 24-hr emergency helpline on rotation basis
- Screens counseling requests and appointments to assess need for counselling support and service.
- Provides one-to-one first-level counseling service for distressed residents
- Organises and conducts support groups for residents
- Liaises and follow-up with Unit Leaders to render emotional help and support to residents
- Manages and documents all client profiles and casework
- Coordinates counselling referral program with external specialized counselling centres / psychiatric hospitals
- Plans and conducts in-house mental & emotional development training / workshops to residents and staff
- Trains Unit Leaders on skills and techniques to identify and spot distressed residents
- Liaises and coordinates with VWO/NGO on external counselling training for residents and staff
- Participates in counselling supervision program to ensure continuous improvement in value of counselling service delivery to our residents
- Updates and coordinates with the respective shipyards’ HRD on all personnel
- (resident) matters Conducts dormitory visits in residents’ unit

**Requirements**:

- Min 1 year of relevant experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably in MNCs
- Must be a registered Counsellor with SAC (Singapore Association of counselling) and/or Registered Social Worker with SASW (Singapore Association of Social Workers)
- Additional experience in Events Management is preferred though not a must.
- Ability to to communicate with the residents)
- Possess integrity, “Can Do” attitude with passion Possess good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
