Singlife is the exclusive insurance provider for the Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Home Affairs and Public Officers Group Insurance Scheme. Singlife is also an official signatory of the United Nations Principles for Sustainable Insurance and the United Nations-supported Principles for Responsible Investment, affirming its commitment to finding a better way to sustainability.


The merger of Aviva Singapore and Singlife was announced in September 2020 and created one of the largest homegrown financial services companies in Singapore in a deal valued at S$3.2 billion. It was the largest insurance deal in Singapore at the time. Singlife was subsequently acquired by Sumitomo Life in March 2024, one of Japan’s leading life insurers, which valued Singlife at S$4.6 billion, making the transaction one of the largest insurance deals in Southeast Asia.


Responsibilities:

  • Actively reach out to clients through outbound calls, emails, and other communication channels to re-engage them and convert them into active clients.
  • Educate prospects about our company's offerings, highlighting key features, benefits, and value propositions.
  • Clearly and persuasively communicate the value propositions of our products/services, emphasizing how they align with the customers' needs and goals.
  • Collaborate closely with other teams, such as sales and marketing, to gather insights, share feedback, and contribute to refining the customer nurturing strategy.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, outcomes, closures, and follow-up actions.
  • Continuously update your knowledge about our products, industry trends, and competitive landscape to provide relevant information to customers.
  • Achieve individual and team targets for conversion, revenue generation, and customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in regular training sessions to enhance your product knowledge, communication skills, and sales techniques.
  • Strive to meet and exceed monthly and quarterly conversion targets, contributing to the overall sales goals of the company.


Requirements:

  • A GCE A-Level Certificate, an International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma, a diploma awarded by a polytechnic in Singapore or any other equivalent academic qualification (minimum qualification).
  • Met all the required criteria from Singlife & Financial Advisers Act (FAA) Guidelines on Fit and Proper Criteria.
  • Candidates with M5, HI, M9 and GI will be preferred.
  • Proven experience in tele sales, client engagement, or client advisory roles.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence prospects.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven mindset.
  • Adaptable to evolving sales strategies and a dynamic sales environment.
  • Positive attitude, resilience, and persistence in pursuing clients and overcoming challenges.
