Connect Energy partners with a leading global provider of heavy construction equipment and services to the energy industry to look for an ACCOUNT MANAGER to join their team in Tuas, Singapore.

Position Overview:

As a Key Account Executive/Manager, you will play a crucial role in fostering and expanding relationships with our key clients in the offshore and onshore energy sector. You will be responsible for understanding clients' needs, promoting products and services, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong technical background in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering and the ability to navigate complex sales processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management:
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients in the Oil & Gas/energy industry.
  • Understand client requirements and provide tailored solutions to meet their specific needs.
  • Identify new business opportunities and drive revenue growth within existing key accounts.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
  • Utilize your Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering background to effectively communicate technical details to clients.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and competitor offerings.
Contract Negotiation:

Lead contract negotiations with clients, ensuring terms and conditions align with client's business objectives.

Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, project management, and support functions, to ensure seamless delivery of products and services to clients.
Requirements:
  • Singaporean citizenship and/or currently residing in Singapore.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical and/or Electrical engineering.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in key account management and business development within the Oil & Gas/energy industry.
  • Strong technical acumen and the ability to understand complex engineering concepts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Results-driven with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Willingness to work in Tuas.
