Digital Rights Specialist, YouTube

You will be the Digital Rights Specialist responsible for utilizing YouTube's rights management tools to safeguard and manage our content effectively on the platform. Your primary duties will involve identifying unauthorized content usage, ensuring compliance with copyright regulations and platform policies, and managing YouTube CMS policies including takedowns.Your key responsibilities will include operating and overseeing YouTube's Content ID and Rights Management System, monitoring content ownership, investigating potential copyright infringements, and managing disputes, counterclaims, takedown notices, and DMCA requests. You will collaborate with legal, content, and platform teams to address rights issues and enhance digital rights strategies, while maintaining accurate metadata and asset ownership records within YouTube's CMS.In addition, you will analyze rights performance data to provide insights on content claims, revenue impact, and enforcement effectiveness. It will be essential for you to stay updated on YouTube policy changes, copyright law developments, and digital rights best practices to ensure our content is appropriately protected and monetized.To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Media, Communications, Legal Studies, or a related field, along with 1-2 years of experience in digital rights, content protection, or YouTube CMS operations. Proficiency in YouTube Content ID, CMS tools, and copyright enforcement mechanisms is crucial, and being YouTube Certified in the Rights Management track is preferred. Previous experience collaborating with record labels, studios, MCNs, or media distributors will be beneficial in this position.This is a Full-time position with benefits such as a flexible schedule. The work schedule is during the day shift, and the job location is in Chinchpokli, Mumbai, Maharashtra. A reliable commute or plans to relocate before starting work are preferred. A Bachelor's degree is preferred as the minimum educational requirement for this role.,
