Project Manager

Ambitious and highly respected organization seeks a seasoned project professional to lead complex repair projects from initiation to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of high-profile projects, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional quality standards.
  • Interpret technical specifications, drawings, and contracts to drive project success and mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with trade managers, subcontractors, vendors, and classification societies to maintain project momentum and foster strong relationships.
  • Lead progress meetings to identify and resolve technical or operational challenges in a proactive and solutions-focused manner.
  • Monitor budgets, schedules, and resource allocation for optimal efficiency and continuous improvement.
  • Promote a safe working environment across all activities and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide leadership coverage in the absence of senior management, ensuring seamless continuity and minimizing disruptions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in project management, preferably in ship repair, shipbuilding, or related marine engineering fields.
  • Diploma or degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or a related discipline, with a strong understanding of technical principles and practices.
  • Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience managing projects in the cruise or superyacht segments is advantageous, but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, with knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia or Malay a plus, and proficiency in MS Office, project management tools, and ideally AutoCAD.
  • Solid understanding of marine technical terminology and processes, with the ability to interpret and apply technical information effectively.
