As Senior Process Application Engineer based in Singapore, you will be an important team member in our technology development team with regards to how to perform single wafer chemical processing onto semiconductor wafer using our equipment product. You will work together with a team of 3-4 members globally in different locations and report directly to Process Application Manager.You will have a pivotal role in ensuring the Company's products are well received by customers and ensure our customers' long-term success by providing value-adding solutions.The main responsibilities for the role:Senior / Process Application Engineer (Wet Chemical Processing) The Employee's main duties and responsibilities are as follows:• Work together with the process application team and be the key contributor in process qualification for our equipment during customer on-site installation and ensure to meet customer satisfaction• Lead Company process application lab in Singaporeo Lab equipment readinesso Chemical readiness• Perform customer wafer demo, experiments and pilot production wafer runs with wet chemistry in process applications lab• Optimize equipment and chemical process parameters using data collection and analysis techniques such as Design of Experiment (DOE), Total Process Control (TPC) and statistical analysis.• Proficient in Statistical analysis software such as JMP, Minitab, etc.• Document, form and maintain process application library of equipment & wafer data as well as best known recipes• Other responsibilities include:• Close work with design and development team in software, mechanical and electrical engineering to implement new hardware and software features; perform hands-on equipment install & upgrade at process application lab• Equipment finetuning and adjustments• Work with production & operations team to implement new equipment product roll-out and qualify chemistry process recipes and applications at internal sites as well as customers' sites.• Form creative ideas individually as well as in teams; work on research papers, publications and/or patents; prepare for technical conference & symposium• Support documentation technical editor for above as well as equipment documentation topics• Support Company in equipment manufacturing and development proactively and if required.• Support Company in sales & marketing, process application to customer both proactively and if required.• Discussion with internal Company team and if necessary, external vendors on the application and requirement from the customer• Explore and develop new, novel process application in wet etching and wet cleaning technologies• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by ManagerWho are we looking for? Our ideal candidate has hands-on hardware experience in industrial, technology or manufacturing equipment. Furthermore, he/she must be willing to handle wet chemicals and work in clean room environment.Furthermore, you need to recognize yourself in the profile described below.Skills:• Results-oriented, customer-centric, problem-solving and hands-on mentality• Good interpersonal skills, both on an individual and team basis• Highly motivated to execute a defined mission and strategy to achieve pre-defined target• Experience working in an internal environment dealing with international staff and cultureRequirements:• Bachelor degree graduates or Master degree, in chemical engineering, material science, mechatronics engineering or related field• Min 4 years relevant semiconductor industry experience• At least 3 years process application engineering experience in senior or leading position• Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time• Strong communication skills - fluent in written and oral English; able to write English publications and deliver presentations• Well versed in using MS officeWhat is it in for you?
