  • Develop explainable machine learning algorithms for risk identification in Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) operations
  • Create practical tools to optimize TBM operation parameters
  • Publish research results in reputable peer-reviewed journals
  • Assist in securing external funding through grant applications and proposals
Requirements:
  • Masters degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in technical hands-on experience for TBM tunneling
  • Excellent programming skills in Python, MATLAB, or other competent languages
  • A good record of publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals or conferences
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English for data analysis and communication with stakeholders
  • Previous experience in proposal writing is an asset
