Procurement Executive (6 month contract)Join to apply for the Procurement Executive (6 month contract)role at Achieve Group Responsibilities Select and manage reliable suppliers and service providers, both locally and internationally. Oversee the procurement of major items and services, ensuring adherence to cost, quality, and delivery timelines. Monitor and control the cost and quality of procured goods/services. Identify commercial risks and opportunities during procurement and provide strategic advice. Support and coordinate procurement training initiatives across the business unit to meet evolving organizational and staff needs. Assist in drafting and reviewing supplier, subcontractor, and consultant contract forms, ensuring appropriate commercial terms are included. Provide procurement support to project teams as required, including initiating RFQs, negotiating terms, and coordinating delivery. Maintain and improve procurement policies and procedures for continued operational excellence. Keep an updated register of approved suppliers and subcontractors. Liaise with site and project managers to ensure seamless day-to-day procurement support. Participate in internal audits alongside the QSE Manager and Commercial Manager. Requirements Relevant tertiary qualification preferred (e.g., Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or Construction-related discipline). Minimum 5 years of procurement experience within the construction industry, with a strong understanding of local supply chains. Proven ability to evaluate procurement issues and resolve them using structured problem-solving approaches. Strong negotiation, communication, and supplier management skills. Familiarity with standard contract terms and procurement documentation. Detail-oriented with a proactive and solution-driven mindset.
