We are looking for a **detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Executive**to manage the sourcing, negotiation, and purchasing of materials, ensuring seamless project execution while optimizing costs and maintaining quality standards.
**Job Overview**:
The Procurement Executive will be responsible for **purchasing construction materials, coordinating with suppliers, managing inventory, and ensuring timely delivery**for renovation projects. This role requires strong **negotiation skills, supplier relationship management, and an understanding of renovation materials and market pricing**.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Procurement & Supplier Management**:
- Identify, evaluate, and engage **reliable suppliers and vendors**for renovation materials and equipment.
- **Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms**to ensure cost-effective procurement.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with **key suppliers, subcontractors, and service providers**.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure **quality compliance**with company standards.
**Purchasing & Cost Control**:
- Source and purchase **construction materials, fixtures, and equipment**based on project requirements.
- Monitor **market prices, material availability, and industry trends**to optimize cost efficiency.
- Review and approve purchase orders while ensuring adherence to project budgets.
- Identify **cost-saving opportunities**and implement strategies to reduce procurement expenses.
**Logistics & Inventory Management**:
- Ensure timely **material delivery to project sites**, preventing project delays.
- Track **inventory levels**and coordinate with project managers to avoid shortages or overstocking.
- Implement **effective storage and material handling procedures**to minimize waste.
- Work closely with the logistics team to manage **incoming shipments and deliveries**.
**Compliance & Documentation**:
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with **company policies and legal regulations**.
- Maintain **accurate procurement records, purchase orders, and supplier agreements**.
- Conduct **risk assessments**to ensure compliance with safety and sustainability standards.
- Prepare **procurement reports and cost analysis**for management review.
**Key Requirements**:
- **Experience**:Minimum **2-3 years**of experience in **procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management**, preferably in the **renovation, construction, or interior design industry**.
- **Education**:Degree/Diploma in **Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field**.
- **Skills & Competencies**:Strong **negotiation, cost analysis, and supplier management skills**.
Good knowledge of **renovation materials, construction supplies, and procurement processes**.
Proficiency in **procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel**.
Excellent **organizational and problem-solving abilities**.
- **Other Requirements:Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work under tight deadlines**.
Ability to coordinate across multiple departments for smooth project execution.
Familiarity with **local building regulations and safety standards**is a plus.
