Manager Shipping and Receiving PerkinElmer is seeking a proactive and organized leader to manage daily operations of receiving, storage, handling, issuing, packing, and shipping. The manager will train and guide warehouse personnel and admin assistants, ensuring efficient, accurate, and compliant processes. Responsibilities Lead a team of warehouse personnel and admin assistants in day‐to‐day operations. Participate in daily meetings with the team and manufacturing colleagues to resolve support issues related to build plans. Plan and make use of all resources, including manpower and space. Set warehouse policies and procedures, ensuring employees follow policies and safety regulations. Provide training on store functions and SAP data entry. Conduct process studies, implement systems, and execute continuous improvement projects. Ensure proper handling of controlled materials, such as those with shelf life or requiring special storage conditions. Maintain stock count accuracy through regular cycle counts and reconciliations. Conduct annual physical inventory and ensure acceptable accuracy in parts and dollar value. Ensure proper disposal of scrap materials. Lead activities to ensure compliance with trade regulations, customs regulations, and ISO standards. Perform risk assessments and take actions to maintain a safe working environment. Apply Six Sigma techniques to streamline processes and drive continuous improvement. Lead special projects and key initiatives as identified. Support EHS implementation and ISO14001/ISO45001 activities.
