Job Title
We are seeking a Product Innovation Manager to join our team.
- The Product Innovation Manager will be responsible for leading the modification of existing products for new applications to meet customer requirements with minimal supervision.
- This role involves working collaboratively with scientists and R&D leads in research centres to provide suitable products to meet customer demands.
- Key Responsibilities include:
- Modifying existing products for new applications to meet customer requirements with minimal supervision.
- Collaborating with scientists and R&D leads in research centres to provide suitable products to meet customer demands.
- Reporting feedback on results with detailed analysis and recommendations to supervisors and/or teams.
- Analyzing problems or customer complaints regarding existing products and assisting with formula or process changes for new applications.
- Supervising technicians to support testing work.
- Interacting frequently with internal departments to provide basic technical or procedural information.
- Attending technical conferences, trade shows, and educational courses to remain current in the field.
- Following safety guidelines for handling materials with the use of protective equipment as required.
- Maintaining organization and cleanliness of work areas, laboratory instruments, and equipment.
Requirements:
- A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, or related fields.
- A minimum of one year of laboratory experience is required.
- Preferred experience in Si-based PV processing, glass science, organic/inorganic chemistry, or related fields.
- Knowledge and formulation experience of thick film paste/ink is a plus.
- Familiarity with Six Sigma methodology, such as statistical analysis, is preferred.
