Overview

BTI Executive Search is representing our wholesale banking client for a senior role in leading and expanding the Structured Finance and Syndicated Loan business for its Singapore Branch, with coverage across Singapore and Southeast Asia. The focus is on origination, distribution and loan agency, ensuring business targets are achieved while upholding strong risk and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • The position involves driving marketing and client engagement to generate new financing opportunities, leading deal teams in credit assessment, due diligence, industry analysis and cashflow modelling.
  • You will guide the structuring of bankable lending solutions, lead negotiations with borrowers and oversee accurate and professional execution of transactions, including documentation, marketing materials and roadshows.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with syndication banks is essential to support loan distribution activities.
  • The role also requires providing leadership, coaching and oversight to deal teams, ensuring proposals are sound, risks are well managed and regulatory requirements are met.
Requirements
  • Applicants should hold a degree in business or a related discipline and have at least 12 years’ corporate banking experience in Asia Pacific, with deep expertise in structured finance and syndication.
  • Proven leadership, formal credit training and familiarity with Asia Pacific Loan Market Association standards are desirable, alongside strong knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks.
