Job Title: Tunnel Operations Manager

Job Description:

The Tunnel Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire tunnel construction process. This involves coordinating activities of a large team of site workers, engineers, and contractors to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining strict safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Develop project plans, coordinate resources, and monitor progress to achieve set objectives.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor team members, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Safety Management: Implement and enforce strict safety protocols, conducting regular risk assessments to mitigate potential hazards.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all work meets required standards, conducting quality checks and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and logistics, to facilitate smooth project execution.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years' experience in tunnel operations or a related field.
  • Certificate in Building Construction Safety Supervisor (BCSS-T) or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills , with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills , with the ability to analyze complex situations and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces, with a strong sense of physical fitness.
