About the team As an Implementation Consultant, you will be managing the full onboarding cycle for mid-market and enterprise companies from contract signing through launch. You will proactively develop and manage integration architecture, change management strategy, and timelines. You will be expected to collaborate across departments, including Sales, Technical Services, Product, and Engineering, to ensure a successful transition for our clients. What you’ll do You are adept at managing client relationships, capable of engaging in business-level and technical conversations at multiple levels of the organization, including CTO, COO, and CFO. You have an in-depth understanding of the challenges users face while onboarding with Stripe and can lead a complex, multi-party integration in a highly consultative and proactive manner. You have worked with cross-functional teams (e.g. Product, Engineering, Legal, Business Teams, etc) to craft custom solutions to achieve customer objectives. You are used to project management, engaging stakeholders and holding cross-functional teams accountable to a timeline. You want to actively decrease a user’s overall Stripe onboarding timeline and help Stripe understand the levers that influence this time-to-live metric. You enjoy pattern recognition and solving thematic problems. You will create user-facing content for short-term solutions and also work with Sales, Product & Engineering on long-term solutions. Mandarin speaking ability is required as you’ll be engaging with some of our most complex China-based merchants - working with their developer, operations, and finance teams. If you’re hungry, smart, persistent, and a great teammate, we want to hear from you Responsibilities Own the full implementation cycle from signed-to-live for mid-market and enterprise companies. Be responsible for proactively developing and project managing a customer’s integration strategy, plan and timeline. Lead and contribute to team projects to develop, improve, and scale our processes. Engage with Product and Engineering teams to help drive product strategy. Who you are We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement. 5+ years of experience working with customers, preferably at a technology company, with a track record of top performance. Deep understanding of the Stripe API, and ability to explain complex API concepts to Stripe’s largest and most technical customers. Ability to understand complex enterprise requirements and craft tailored solutions. Strong critical thinking skills, including ability to identify suboptimal internal processes. Ability to recognize repeated user-facing issues and build scalable solutions. Superior communication skills in both verbal and written forms, with native-level proficiency in English and Mandarin. Ability to operate in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment. Strong interest in technology. Preferred qualifications Prior experience at a growth stage internet/software company. Prior experience in the payments industry. Prior experience working with large mid-market companies as well as enterprise organizations. Knowledge of China market and merchant familiarity preferred. Office-assigned Stripes spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This hits a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility about how to do this in a way that makes sense for individuals and their teams. The annual salary range for this role in the primary location is S$168,000 - S$252,000. This range may change if you are hired in another location. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings (“OTE”) range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and specific location.
