About The Role
RWE Supply & Trading is the interface between RWE and energy markets around the world. We are a dynamic and ambitious team with a fresh mandate, exploring a broad spectrum of petrochemical products. We are looking for analytical, like-minded individuals to contribute to delivering commercial success.
To start as soon as possible, full time. Functional area: Commercial Trading.
Responsibilities
Gain access to a comprehensive suite of analytical tools and an in-house database.
Develop robust, fundamental analysis of commodity markets and identify meaningful linkages across global trading hubs.
Provide subject-matter insights to inform desk trading and origination strategies, contributing to decisions that drive measurable commercial outcomes.
Qualifications
Background in numerical disciplines such as Engineering, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Business Analytics.
2+ years’ experience in petrochemicals, LPG or related markets; exposure to physical trading is welcomed.
Proficiency in programming languages (Python, SQL); ability to create and maintain models to validate hypotheses and study price formation drivers.
Comfortable working in a front-office team; proactive in sharing analysis-backed views and providing concise, on-demand ad hoc analysis to support desk decisions.
