Job Overview

As a trading professional, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing trading activities in the LPG sector. Your primary objective will be to develop and maintain client relationships that maximize trading profitability while ensuring operational excellence.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute LPG trading strategies and oversee day-to-day trading operations, aligning activities with company goals and market opportunities.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and counterparties to identify and secure profitable trading opportunities.
  • Monitor global LPG markets, analyze supply-demand trends, and provide actionable insights to support trading decisions.
  • Negotiate and manage trading contracts, ensuring compliance with terms, company policies, and industry regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including logistics, risk management, and finance, to ensure efficient trade execution and resolve operational challenges.
  • Evaluate and mitigate risks associated with trading activities, including credit, price, and operational risks.
  • Coordinate LPG cargo movements, including scheduling, shipping, and delivery, to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of obligations.
  • Maintain detailed records of trading activities and provide performance reports to senior management.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

Comprehensive knowledge of LPG trading is crucial, along with strong negotiation and relationship management skills to establish and maintain successful partnerships. Analytical abilities are also essential to assess market data, identify opportunities, and make informed trading decisions. Proficiency in using trading platforms, market analysis tools, and CRM systems is highly desirable.


Education and Experience:

A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Energy Management, Economics, or a related field is required. A minimum of 5–7 years of experience in LPG trading, energy trading, or similar roles is necessary, along with a proven track record of successful trading operations and deal closures in the LPG market.
