Field Operations Specialist

The successful candidate will oversee all field operation activities, ensuring compliance with operational guidelines. This role requires excellent analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out all routine plant tests and periodic auxiliary equipment changeovers in accordance with approved Work Instructions and schedules
  • Identify and report on defective plant and equipment, and monitor and log equipment operation data into associated logs
  • Respond appropriately to system exigencies, investigate plant abnormalities, and recommend courses of action during shifts
  • Coordinate OJT training for new team members and assist CCR staff in maintaining accurate records of key operational events
  • Assist in monitoring performance and maintaining optimum unit efficiency in operations

Requirements

  • Possess relevant qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Hold a diploma or higher NITEC with 2-5 years' experience in Combined Cycle Power Plants or related industries
  • Self-motivated individuals with sound analytical and communication skills are preferred
  • Good knowledge of plant processes and operations is essential
  • Able to handle equipment or machinery without color blindness
