Responsibilities
Lead Wealth Advisor Competency initiatives across regional location through strategic planning, goal setting and performance management in collaboration with Segment Leaders
Drive development and implementation of WA Training Programmes in coordination with local WM Learning & Development and Maybank Academy
Provide coaching, guidance & support to local WM in introducing WA competency standards in the region
Collaborate closely with other SP13A COEs to identify initiatives that require WAC COE assistance to ensure training and on-the-job support is factored in roll-out planning
Lead or contribute to high-impact "Quick Win" projects that advance the overall goal
Lead regular analysis and interpretation of quantitative and qualitative data on WA performance and Customer satisfaction levels to support decision making and prioritisation
Collaborate with local WM on regular performance reviews and develop analytics to assess WA competency levels, provide feedback, and identify areas for improvement
Collaborate with Customer Insights to analyse customer feedback and draw actionable insights immediate remediation and/or refinement of WAC goals
Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, Agile mindset, and exceptional client service
Partner with internal stakeholders to leverage resources, expertise, and best practices.
Facilitate workshops or meetings to gather insights and drive strategic alignment
Assist to manage budgets, resources and administrative tasks
Stay current with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and market developments of MY, SG & ID
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or STEM-related field
Experience: 10+ years in Wealth Management (Private or Premier), in a business leadership role (e.g. Segment Head, Branch Manager, Business Manager or Team Lead) or Wealth Strategy and Business Initiatives type role.
Able to lead, motivate, and empower teams with effective delegation, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. Able to foster a positive team culture and collaboration.
In-depth understanding of wealth management products and services. Staying up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory changes and applying expertise to drive competency standards higher
