What the role is: As a Character and Citizenship Education Officer, you will help shape the experiences of students in the National Police Cadet Corps and implement programmes to support their character, citizenship, and leadership development. You will be based at the Home Team Academy (501 Old Chua Chu Kang Road, Singapore ). What you will be working on: Support the implementation of CCE 2021 through Uniformed Group (UG) programmes that develop character, leadership, and citizenship values, in partnership with the National Police Cadet Corps (NPCC). Mentor and coach Teacher Officers to enhance their curriculum delivery and facilitation skills to provide quality uniformed group experiences for students. Supervise the planning and conduct of UG activities, including both local and overseas programmes, ensuring activities meet safety and educational standards, aligned with national UG directives. Collaborate with UG strategic partners including MINDEF, SPF, SCDF to identify, plan, and implement enriching UGHQ-organized programmes, including national competitions, parades, and leadership courses. Coordinate logistics and perform administrative functions such as secretariat duties and manpower resourcing and planning, in line with operational needs. What we are looking for: Ability to work well in a team as well as independently. Good communication skills, ability to articulate effectively, and demonstrate sound analytical thinking. Prior experience in the Uniformed Services would be an advantage. Applicants can expect to hear from us within 3 weeks of the application deadline.
