Dr Caroline Wee (Principal Scientist, IMCB, A*STAR) is looking for a qualified individual to be employed at the level of a postdoctoral researcher. Projects involve dissecting the molecular, neural, and genetic networks of the diet-microbiome-gut-brain axis using cutting-edge approaches such as in vivo imaging, neural circuit manipulations and molecular omics approaches in the zebrafish model.
Job Requirements
Ph.D. in Biology, Neuroscience, or a related discipline.
Strong preference for candidates with experience in zebrafish models, particularly in areas such as the microbiome, molecular-genetic manipulation, and behavioural assays.
Familiarity with systems neuroscience techniques, including microscopy and in vivo imaging is an advantage.
Proficient in data analysis and statistical methods relevant to biological research.
Demonstrates a high level of responsibility, organization, and focus.
Capable of working independently while also being an effective and enthusiastic team player.
Experience in mentoring students or interns is preferred.
Possesses strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
