Infrastructure and Network Support Engineer Working Hours: Mon-Fri Location: Central Remuneration: Up to $4,500 We are looking for an Infrastructure and Network Support Engineer to assist in maintaining our on-premises and cloud-based servers, networking systems, and virtualisation platforms. This role offers hands-on experience in IT infrastructure and an opportunity to develop technical skills in a supportive environment.Key Responsibilities Assist in managing on-premises servers and virtual machines (VMs) using platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, or Nutanix. Help configure and maintain firewall rules, network policies, and VLANs under guidance. Respond to requests related to network access, permissions, and virtualisation services. Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to troubleshoot and resolve basic infrastructure issues. Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with security policies. Requirements Basic knowledge of server operating systems (Linux/Ubuntu and Windows Server). Familiarity with virtualisation platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, or Nutanix) is a plus. Understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, switching, and routing. Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, and network policy management is advantageous. Interest in learning cloud platforms (AWS or Azure). Comfortable using ticketing systems such as Jira. Strong problem-solving skills, eagerness to learn, and ability to work in a team.
