**About the Role**:
The Project Engineer will be responsible for supporting and delivering core **network infrastructure projects**within a defence environment.

The role involves coordinating implementation, configuration, and maintenance of network systems while ensuring timely project delivery and compliance with security requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Support end-to-end delivery of **network infrastructure projects**, including planning, setup, configuration, and testing.
- Perform **installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance**of **routers, switches, firewalls, and UPS systems.**:

- Coordinate with **vendors, users, and project stakeholders**to ensure smooth implementation and issue resolution.
- Monitor network performance and provide operational support during project rollout.
- Prepare project documentation, progress reports, and network topology diagrams.
- Ensure compliance with **defence network security standards and protocols**.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma or Degree in **Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field**.
- **CAT 1 MSD clearance**required (or eligible to obtain).
- **Hands-on experience**with **routers, switches, firewalls, UPS, and network monitoring tools.**:

- **CCNA certification**highly preferred.
- Strong communication and coordination skills to engage effectively with end-users and vendors.

**Preferred Attributes**:

- Prior experience supporting **government or defence-related infrastructure projects**.
- Knowledge of **network delivery, implementation, and operational support**workflows.
