Description Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis (1 year full-time contract) Advanced MedTech is the largest medical device company in Southeast Asia. Advanced MedTech is a wholly owned subsidiary of Temasek Holdings. This position is for a 1 year full-time contract. The Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis position is a regional position covering Europe, Asia and Japan. You will be responsible for FP&A functions including budgeting and forecasting activities of various legal entities. In this role, you will work closely with various stakeholders to prepare internal reports for executive leadership and support their decision making. You need to be self‑driven, confident enough to propose the most appropriate approach to fulfill the business and accounting requirements, and constantly reassess existing processes to propose improvements. Job Responsibilities Comparing historical results against budgets and forecasts, performing variance analysis to explain differences in performance and make improvements going forward Collaborate with individual SBU and departments to prepare budgets and consolidate them into one overall corporate budget Prepare internal reports and close collaboration with Accounting department Business partner with Sales Managers to analyze and track sales pipeline and product margin Prepare detailed analysis of financial and operational results through charts or Power BI, recommend measures to improve performance of the company, e.g. potential cost reduction, program improvement, policy change Business partner to stakeholders to monitor and provide analysis of costs for all activities (fixed and variable costs) e.g. R&D project controlling, Operations efficiency calculations. This includes ad‑hoc support and participation in critical business projects Strong knowledge in cost accounting to review and update product costing on a timely basis Identify/enhance improvements and best practice to support key decision making Secondary Responsibilities Perform other ad hoc projects as required Job Requirements Education/Qualifications CPA or CA membership is a plus Minimum 3 years of working experience At least a Bachelor Degree in Accounting or equivalent Experience Minimum 2 years of FP&A related experience, in MNC is preferred Highly motivated Be open‑minded about changes Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills Able to work under stringent deadlines and high pressure and be able to multi‑task Operational Skills Advanced user of MS‑Office and ERP Systems.
