Your Mission As a Computer Vision Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing computer vision algorithms that are integral to our robotic systems. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and researchers to develop software and in-house core algorithm. This role demands a blend of creativity and technical expertise to tackle challenging problems and contribute to our mission of revolutionizing robotics applications in manufacturing and assembly. What To Expect Design and implement advanced computer vision algorithms for 3D reconstruction, image processing, object detection, recognition, tracking, and scene understanding to enhance the capabilities of our robotic systems. Develop robust software solutions that integrate computer vision algorithms into our robotic platforms, ensuring high performance and reliability. Collaborate with other engineers and researchers to prototype new concepts and bring innovative technologies from conception to deployment in real-world applications. Continuously research and stay updated on the latest advancements in computer vision and machine learning technologies to inform development strategies. Optimize existing computer vision algorithms for efficiency, including improving accuracy, reducing computational resources, and achieving real-time performance. Conduct rigorous testing and validation of computer vision components to ensure system performance and reliability under diverse and challenging conditions. Document software designs, implementation details, and testing protocols to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure reproducibility. What You'll Bring A Master's or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field, with more than 2 years of industrial experience focusing on computer vision and robotics. Solid foundation in computer vision, image processing (e.g. edge detection, denoising), multiple view geometry, depth estimation, machine learning techniques with proven experience developing and deploying algorithms in real-world applications. Please note that knowledge in deep learning is required but not sufficient. Expertise in camera calibration, like camera intrinsic calibration, camera-to-camera calibration and robot-to-camera calibration with proven experience on developing and deploying calibration algorithms. Expertise in programming languages such as C++, Python and CUDA, and familiarity with computer vision libraries (e.g., OpenCV, PCL) and machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch). Expertise in calibration and 3D reconstruction (nerf and gaussian). Experience with point cloud processing is highly desirable. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and communicate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely. Creative problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation in robotics and computer vision technologies.
