Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide support and guidelines as required.
Conduct timely market reviews and requests for price proposals (RFQ) in accordance with internal purchasing rules and guidelines.
Negotiate quantities, prices, delivery schedules, terms and conditions of delivery, and payment/contractual terms.
Ensure timely PO execution to meet production needs.
Drive resolution to supply chain issues affecting quality, cost, delivery, or lead-time, which may include engagement with manufacturers/sub-tiers in the supply chain.
Identify and realize cost savings opportunities and execute cost reduction initiatives assigned.
Prepare all relevant weekly and monthly reports.
Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
Entry-level candidate or 2-3 years of working experience in the semiconductor industry.
Detail-oriented, positive attitude, self-motivated, and target-driven.
Meticulous and strong in numbers.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good understanding of procurement best practices and industry trends.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to read, write, and communicate in Mandarin with Chinese-speaking vendors and internal Chinese-speaking stakeholders.
Self-starter with good initiative and a team player personality.
Dynamic individual capable of working under stress and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
