Position: Carbon Origination and Trading (Executive/Manager/Director)More than 15 years in the making with $2B in revenue and 23 TWh traded last year, Aither, a renowned Swiss trading house specializing in environmental commodities, is on the lookout for a dynamic and experienced professional to become an integral part of its team based in Singapore to aid in the fast‐growing business activities with a specific focus to drive operational excellence and strategic enhancements. This role entails a seamless operational journey for our clients, partners in achieving efficiency and compliance across our processes. Key Responsibilities Originating and structuring commercial proposals including financial modelling and underwriting of projects. Maintain existing partnerships and clients. Identify and drive new customer acquisition in spot trading and forward contracts. Manage reports and data analytics efficiently. Optimize, streamline or improve day‐to‐day trading activities. Liaise with internal departments for contract endorsement and assist in verifying contractual terms & conditions. Efficiently manage and drive excellence for knowledge management, policy frameworks while keeping abreast of market developments and intelligence. Travel overseas up to 30% of the time for conferences and business meetings. Other ad‐hoc duties as assigned. Key Requirements Diploma/Degree in a relevant field with at least 2‐3 years of work experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and especially Excel). Experience with sales software and data analytics tools e.g. CRM, PowerBI would be an advantage. Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills, attention to detail and comfort in working with numbers. Experience in sales/business development execution (Background in Finance, Utilities, Commodity/Trading, Clean Energy, Carbon Origination/Management sectors would be an added advantage). Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality. Team player yet independent personnel with strong communication and interpersonal skills preferred.
