Job Title: Senior Compliance Specialist
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to join our team as a Senior Compliance Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for performing preliminary due diligence checks for deal teams, engaging in discussions with them to understand and troubleshoot issues, drawing up ownership structures and transaction structures from documents provided by clients, reviewing and ensuring documents collected for KYCs are complete and properly certified, and conducting various due diligence checks on clients on external and internal platforms and databases.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Performing preliminary due diligence checks for deal teams
  • Engaging in discussions with deal teams to understand and troubleshoot issues
  • Drawing up ownership structures and transaction structures from documents provided by clients
  • Reviewing and ensuring documents collected for KYCs are complete and properly certified
  • Conducting various due diligence checks on clients on external and internal platforms and databases
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Bachelor's Degree with experience in corporate/project finance KYCs, certifications in AML, familiarity with regulatory requirements pertaining to KYC/AML, and possess good interpersonal skills and communicate effectively with internal and possibly external customers. You should also be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and internet search tools.
