Job Title: Senior Compliance Specialist

Role Overview:

As a Senior Compliance Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the bank's client onboarding process is aligned with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Your key responsibility will be to conduct thorough due diligence on clients, verify their identities, and ensure all necessary documentation is in order.

  • Conduct risk assessments on clients to identify potential risks and areas for improvement.
  • Develop effective solutions to mitigate identified risks, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of client onboarding processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing regulatory requirements and industry standards, applying this knowledge to enhance compliance processes.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify client identities through various means, including government-issued ID and other verification methods.
  • Ensure all necessary documentation is in order and up-to-date, maintaining accurate records and files.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on client onboarding progress and any issues that may arise.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as finance or accounting.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a banking or financial institution.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
