Job Overview

The successful candidate will play a critical role in delivering high-quality dishes while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and efficiency. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for overseeing a specific section of the kitchen, working closely with the Head Chef and fellow kitchen staff to ensure a smooth and consistent dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dish Preparation : Prepare and execute dishes according to the restaurant's recipes and quality standards.
  • Kitchen Section Management : Manage a designated section of the kitchen, ensuring all food is prepared efficiently and consistently.
  • Team Supervision : Supervise and guide kitchen staff, ensuring proper techniques and hygiene practices are followed.
  • Cleanliness and Safety : Maintain kitchen cleanliness and ensure adherence to food safety regulations.
  • : Assist in menu development, including testing new dishes and making improvements based on feedback.
  • : Monitor inventory levels and communicate with the Head Chef regarding stock needs.

Requirements

  • Culinary Experience : Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or Demi Chef in a high-volume restaurant or bistro.
  • Culinary Knowledge : Strong knowledge of Mexican cuisine is a plus.
  • Culinary Passion : Passion for food, creativity, and attention to detail.
  • Culinary Skills : Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Safety and Hygiene : Strong understanding of kitchen hygiene and safety regulations.
  • Communication and Teamwork : Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
