Lead the Next Generation of Chess Players

We are a rapidly expanding chess education institution, known for creating an elite circle of coaches and top-tier programs that drive student success.

We seek competitive players who want to turn their passion for chess into a rewarding career. Whether you're already an experienced coach or an active player ready to be trained, this is an opportunity for builders, leaders, and competitors who want to shape the future of chess education.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Coach, inspire, and challenge students across all levels (~30 hours/week coaching)
  • Support operational activities (~10 hours/week), including scheduling, coach tracking, and liaison
  • Apply your competitive playing background to guide students toward real tournament success
  • Grow into a leadership role - we develop coaches, not just hire them
  • Represent our organization with professionalism both in the classroom and at events

About You

Path A: Experienced Coach (Preferred)

  • At least 3 years of proven coaching/classroom experience
  • Hold relevant certifications
  • Active competitive chess player
  • Professional, ambitious, and committed to high standards

Path B: Competitive Player (Training Pathway)

  • Strong tournament playing background
  • Hungry to learn and grow into a professional coach
  • Willing to undergo our structured training program
  • Start at lower end of pay range, with growth as you certify and gain experience

Work Arrangement

  • Full-time position (~40 hrs/week: 30 hrs coaching + 10 hrs operational support)
  • Hybrid role: attend our office weekly for coordination and meetings
  • School visitations required (1-2 times per week)
