Marketing Manager, APAC Based in: Singapore or China, Shanghai The Marketing Manager APAC plays a crucial role in developing and implementing the operational marketing plan for the APAC region. In close collaboration with the APAC sales and global marketing teams, the Marketing Manager will ensure that the APAC operational marketing plan aligns with the overall business strategies and sales objectives. The key job purpose includes growing the marketing funnel through content marketing and ground events to drive revenue growth, while also serving as a source of market insights to support business strategies and key accounts development. It is also expected to lead strategic marketing or cross-functional projects from time to time. Aside from working closely with the APAC sales and Global marketing team, it is expected to collaborate effectively with the Global Scientific Affairs team to create or adapt scientific content for the APAC markets, and with marketing and market research agencies to deliver on the marketing objectives. Key Responsibilities Marketing Strategy & Planning: Developing and executing the APAC operational marketing plan in alignment with the APAC commercial strategies and the Global Marketing strategies, to grow the marketing funnel and drive sales revenue. Growing marketing funnel by increasing brand awareness and interest through Content Marketing: Develop relevant and engaging content on Probi-owned website (China) and social media accounts (Wechat) that is aligned with Global Content Strategy. Build and execute a post calendar for social media to maintain digital presence. Amplify content on Probi-owned assets through advertising, direct mailing and digital search. Monitor performance indices and make data-driven decisions to optimize media performance. Generating and nurturing new customer leads through Ground Events such as tradeshows and customer workshops:Plan and execute our participation in regional/local tradeshows. Plan and execute Probi-owned customer workshops. Set KPIs and evaluate the performance of each ground event and make recommendations for improvements where necessary. Support the APAC sales team in the selling process with Sales Collaterals: Build and maintain a library of sales collaterals, including but not limited to product brochures, scientific compendiums, customer success stories, etc. Provide relevant sales collaterals and content in vernacular languages to effectively engage local audiences in the APAC markets. Support the commercial team with Market Insights to make data-driven decisions and commercial strategy development:Acquire and maintain deep understanding of the pro- and post-biotics market in APAC so as to stay attuned and agile in identifying and quantifying growth opportunities and risks. Manage market research, customer feedback and competitive intelligence to support overall APAC commercial strategy development. Support key accounts. Projects Management: Driving ad hoc marketing or cross-functional projects and business cases to support business growth. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s/master’s degree in business administration or a life-science discipline. 10+ years proven experience in B2 B marketing within Food & Bev or Dietary Supplements industry. Experience from probiotics or similar raw material industry is an advantage, but not a requirement. A strong understanding of the effective levers to grow the B2 B marketing funnel online and offline is essential. Strong oral and written communication skills in English and Chinese. Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights. Excellent project management skills. Strong people skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with teams across different geographies and time zones.
